Repainted Nurgle Renegade

Repainted Nurgle Renegade

This was a cool model which I painted originally as one of the first 11 Diseased Sons. It was touched up over the years, but I decided to strip it with Pinesol and repaint it. I did the painting while in Japan so I was operating on a limited pallet. I had received some criticism behind my back online on the Deathguard.org forums about my models being too bright. I've found that forum to be full of people I don't want to have anything to do with, so I'm not even going to link to it anymore. If you haven't noticed I don't like forums well at least many 40K forums much, too many immature people on them. So for the two five model batches of Plague Marines I painted in Japan I tried to make them a bit darker by not using pure Tentacle Pink as a highlight.

I also used a snazzy metallic color for the trim and other bits. This color is easy to achieve, I paint the piece Tin Bitz. This is overtop of a black primed model. I then highlight the Tin Bitz with Brazen Brass. I then wash the trim with Rust Brown Ink which I water down some.
