Diseased Sons: Nurgle Chaos Space Marines

Welcome to the homepage for the Diseased Sons, a Warhammer 40,000 Nurgle Chaos Space Marine Warband. Playing games with miniature soldiers is a hobby I was introduced to in highschool by teammates on my rugby team. I've kept on collecting and painting model soldiers when I've had the time, energy, and money. I've had this army for a long, long time. I've dragged it across the continent and back. I don't play often, but when I do, people usually enjoy gaming with me. This army is very old and now quite larege. It is slowly being updated for 10th Edition where I intend to field this army as a Fellhammer Seige-Host, hence dubbing the Diseased Sons, the Irony Warriors of Nurgle.

To the right you can see links to the latest blog posts on my miniature painting blog. Subscribing to that would be the best way to follow my miniature painting and gaming exploits. I do occiasionally post images to Flickr and Instagram. However if you are truly interested in Nurgle Renegades this websites contains many pictures of old out of print models along with battle reports going back to the 1990s complete with twenty year old HTML, JavaScript and CSS.

For the record this army was started during 2nd Edition of Warhammer 40,000, during the days of the black codex and some may still remember praying every day for a Chaos Codex. I famously played Orks during the Rogue Trader era, something folks like Dave Handy may yet remember. Currently I am in Calgary, where there was once a Grand Tournament. We are no longer playing a narrative campaign at the Sentry Box in Calgary but may again in the future. It is by far the closest gaming store to my condo in the Beltline.

Even More Nurgle Goodness

A picture of my entire army along with a full force composition circa 2003, I've since painted many more models. I don't know how many points I have painted, my army is far from optimal especially now that it is the 10th edtion of Warhammer 40,000. I've become more of a painter and schemer than a competative gamer. At some point I attempted a video tour of my painted miniature collection. I'll have to make a better one someday, but it can be seen below.
