Khorne Defiler

This model won the 40K Vehicle category proving even at a casual glance I'm a pretty could judge of models. It was painted by Jack Gay according to the GW site, another person of whom I'm unfamiliar. At first I thought it was by Jason Saunders as I thought it might be from the same army as his dread. The reds are actually slightly different as you could formerlly see on GW's website. The secondary colors are also different. Kelly Kim placed third in this category, he entered almost every category winning three times. He is something of a regular on the Vancouver painting scene it seems. He paints for money if you can track him down in Google, I found him on CoolMiniOrNot. Despite his success in this contest and others he isn't the best painter in Vancouver. He has succeeded in ruffling a few feathers though. He entered an entire army into the 2003 Vancouver GT which he probably sold later on eBay, but he didn't win best painted then either, Shawn Wagner deservedly won with his High Elves.
